GIVE . and TAKE .
which one can put a smile on us ? indeed . take or in other word receive something that is given to us . especially when the thing is what we like or what we think is special to us .
but to give is sometimes not as joyful as receiving something . in fact we need to sacrifice . sacrifice our interest , money , time , energy and much more .
in contrast, giving put a satisfaction in our heart . a satisfaction that can never we will get rather than we do the action . when satisfaction comes , everything will feel better . what we lose is what make us happy . what make us tired is what make us happy . how much we had to spend is what make us happy . and to know that when do it sincerely and Allah will bless is the happiest thing .
just return back from kuala lumpur for " RAMADHAN IBU KOTA " , it was an eye opener for me . with the hectic and stressful week i had , definitely it was a correct decision to walk out from malacca and explore the world outside .
this quotation really attracts me,

singgah sahur . homeless . no proper home to protect them from danger , no money to buy delicious food and expensive clothes , no direction where to go as they know anything bad can happen to them at anytime . as long as they have a cardboard to sleep on in the middle of the night , they have a small bag to put some clothes in side and they believe they just need to wait for people give donation to them , that is enough . previously , i always thought that to give them donation like this will actually increase their population as they become lazy and just hoping for someone to give them all their needs . but actually i was wrong . it's hard to explain in word but after facing the reality , walked around the city in the middle of the night when everyone was having their comfort sleep , went down the dirty and smelly canal and saw how they live their life , it changed my mentality that they didn't choose to be like that . they can change but there's a lot to do to change . they had no choice rather than to accept it . however they still try to live it better . some make a proper place to sleep with discarded mattress and valance , a place to cook using thrown pot . some maybe just totally dirty and smelly in appearance but who are we to discriminate them ? they are human like us , just their fate is not as lucky as us . and who are we to judge ? we never know if one day their life will be better and our life turn up to be like that as the world goes round .
and the whole night i've spent did give me satisfaction . eventhough it was tiring to walk so far , it was worth it . the satisfaction overcame the tiredness . in fact the feeling and the experience was priceless . thank you so much homeless people for opening my eyes towards who you are :')

shantoh ramadhan . in the evening , the challenge was different . we faced the group of people not as unlucky as the homeless but still we served for them . as helping is not based on their standard . it is the act towards everyone . again we walked around the busy city and when the traffic light was red , there goes our job . giving food to people in the car who might not reach home before maghrib , so they need to break the fast in the car . rejections . did make me sad . but what to expect . people are varieties . but to see people were smiling when they accepted our goodies satisfied me . true . as i mentioned before , it is the satisfaction of giving . whether or not the people reject or accept is another thing . and not excluded how people around looked at us with different perspective . just ignore . what judged us is also another thing . we don't need to impress others , we just need Allah to look at us . in shaa Allah , may Allah bless our efforts and grant us paradise .

and thanks Allah for giving her as my company for the whole day . responsible and caring Sis Amani Yasin . she really took care of me well . we really share the satisfaction together and may Allah bless us :)
